Andre Gray started DEMO. He envisioned the concept on October 9, 1999 to
create an organization that will award certifications for secured electronic
music sales (SEMS™) over the internet. He also originated the designs and names
for the certifications Flash Gold™, Liquid Crystal™, and Flaming Star™. Mr.
Gray created SEMS™ as a way of establishing a globally-accepted de facto
standard for secured electronic music sales certifications. Mr. Gray came up
with the original name and concept for “X(Cross)-Pollination Across the Nation Tour™”
in 1996. He also wrote and directed “Internet Killed the Video Star©”.

The
primary purpose of DEMO is to create a global de facto standard for
online music sales and to promote all the musical genres of the world as a
unifying force.

There are no other music industry
trade organizations around the world that are offering certifications for
secured electronic music sales (SEMS™).

Secured electronic music sales (SEMS™) was created as a globally-accepted de
facto standard for monitoring and awarding music sales generated by the
Internet.

The name for the DEMO secured electronic music sales (SEMS™)
certifications and their respective denominational levels were named for Elvis
Presley, who is possibly the single most successful, revolutionary, and
important musical figure in the entire history of American popular music and the
greatest cultural icon of the 20th century. Flash Gold™ was taken
from an early nickname—Memphis Flash—given to him during his Sun Records days.
Liquid Crystal™ is part technology and part reference to his love for crystal
china. Flaming Star™ is the name and title song of an early 1960’s Elvis
western movie.

 |
Flash Gold™: 500,000+
|
 |
Liquid Crystal™: 1,000,000—4,999,999
|
 |
Flaming Star™: 5,000,000
|
Note: If a recording sells more than 5,000,000 then the recording will be
certified Flaming Star™ plus a number following the words Flaming Star™, i.e.
 |
Flaming Star™ 2: 10,000,000
|
 |
Flaming Star™ 3: 15,000,000
|
 |
Flaming Star™ 4: 20,000,000
|
 |
Flaming Star™ 5: 25,000,000
|
 |
Etc.

Contact DEMO and submit a request form for certification. DEMO will conduct
an independent audit of the sales figures to ensure that sales figure claims are
legitimate. Assuming everything is in place, DEMO then issues the
certification awards for the recordings.
NOTE:
If the certification does not have Andre Gray’s signature and the DEMO
corporate seal, then the certification award is not a legitimate award.

Each award costs $400 and the record company that released the recordings is the
entity who makes the requests for certifications. Certifications are normally
awarded to producers, songwriters, studio engineers, record company executives,
recording artists, artists’ managers, agents, and business managers.
