DEMO Presents Chuck D with Pioneer Award

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, NY (August 9, 2004)-- DEMO: Digital & Electronic Music Organization, Inc. (www.d-e-m-o.com), selected Chuck D to be a recipient of the Pioneer Award and presented it on July 30, 2004 in New York City.  “Chuck D has long embodied the spirit of the independent musician,” DEMO founder/CEO Andre Gray said.  “Even with his tremendous success throughout the years, he has never considered compromising his musical integrity.  He is also one of the very first artists to harness the power of the internet and to use it as a viable promotional sales tool.”

About DEMO

DEMO: Digital & Electronic Music Organization, Inc. (www.d-e-m-o.com) provides online music sales certifications on a global scale. Andre Gray envisioned the concept of DEMO on 10.09.1999 to create an organization that will award certifications for secured electronic music sales (SEMS) over the internet. The primary purpose of DEMO is to create a global de facto standard for online music sales and to promote all the musical genres of the world as a unifying force.
